This 1953 Manhattan was built in Rotterdam, Holland. It was meticulously restored over a 17 year period by member Mano Forsman of Sweden. Mano started with a real junker that no U. S. member would have ever considered as a restoration candidate. The story of the restoration was published in the Quarterly in Volume 22 Number 3 in 1986. The project was finally completed in 1993. |
