This 1955 Willys Bermuda is owned by John and Sue Hewlett of Lubbock, Texas. The color is
President Red and Concert Ivory. It is fitted with the 226 6 cylinder engine and hydramatic transmission.
It was owned by a "little old lady school teacher" in Dewey, Oklahoma. John states that he had to
have the transmission rebuilt even though it is a very low mileage car--the lady never drove it far
enough on her short trips around Dewey to get the transmission up to operating temperature. Only
2205 Bermudas were built. The car took a Silver award at the Goshen KFOCI National (it missed Gold by
one point). |
